Proclaim is expanding the definition of “nude” with an inclusive collection of both shades (light to deep) and sizes (S–3XL). Cut and sewn in a Los Angeles facility that meets the city strict labor standards, the lingerie offerings include bralettes, briefs, and reversible bodysuits crafted mostly from Tencel or Repreve, a polyester fiber made from recycled plastic water bottles. Double- or triple-layered, these pieces are equal parts soft and supportive. And while each Proclaim bralette diverts three plastic bottles from landfill, a bodysuit diverts 15. Plus, the packaging is fully recycled and recyclable.

The pieces are handmade in a family-owned factory in Colombia, and then handprinted in a New York studio with a process that doesn’t use water or excess dyes. The items are also extensively fit-tested, made in small batches, and often released in limited editions, so if you’re eyeing something now, get it while you can before it’s too late!

Family-owned Warp + Weft has been in the denim business for 30 years, so it should come as no surprise that the brand’s underwear is intentionally designed to be undetectable. Free of sag and backside seams, these anti-pinch bikinis and briefs are lined in 100 percent cotton and made from cellulose reconstituted from beech trees. Ever-inclusive, the collection includes sizes from 00–24, as well as various shades of nude. The brand also recycles 98 percent of the water it uses, ultimately saving over 572.4 million gallons since launching in 2017.
